OsDo is a fair for youth living in Osdorp-Amsterdam, organised by the city counsil (stadsdeel osdorp) and SEZO maatschappelijke dienstverlening. The goal of the fair is to inform teenagers about everything to do with finance, jobs, loans and more. Textile designer Kirsten Voortman and Tobias Krasenberg were asked by PAL WEST to represent them at the fair. Kirsten and Tobias decided to give visitors the opportunity to produce pins and print cotton bags with something that represents who they are and what they are all about. If you're 15 and you go to a job interview, you don't want to go in a suit and tie. A personalised bag or pin (button) can be an interesting way to convey a message.
Pal West kids Gaia (16) and Josefine (17) managed the stand at the fair. Gaia also designed the flyers and posters for the OsDo Event, together with Tobias.
